  1. Median=5 Mean=6 Mode=5 Range=5
    Sequence=5,5,5,5,10.

    1. Can you explain how you came to this answer Andrei? Is this the only solution?

  2. As the mean = 6 and there are 5 cards, the total of the cards = 30. As the median = 5 the middle card = 5. As the mode is also 5 then at least 1 more card = 5. So if 2 cards are both 5. the other 3 cards added together = 20. As the range is 5 I guessed at the lowest number might be a 1, but then the highest card would have to be a 6 and that didn't add up. With the lowest card at 4, the highest would be a 9 and I then needed a 7 to make the total = 20. Sequence of cards = 4 5 5 7 9. This answer is not the only one as Andrei's also works.

  4. As the range = 5 the highest and lowest cards could be 9 and 4. The mean = 6 so the sum of the five cards = 30.
    The mode = 5 so 5 should occur the most. The median = 5 so the number in the middle should be 5.
    The card sequence can be either 4 5 5 7 9 or 5 5 5 5 10.

  5. It could be 4 5 5 7 and 9.
    I know that the mean is 6 and there are 5 cards so if I times 6 and 5 it equals 30,so the total must be 30.The mode is 5 so there must be at least 2 of them.I put them down.
    5 5
    The range is 5 so I guessed that the smallest number was 4 and the largest number was 9.
    4 5 5 9
    If I add those numbers up then I get 23.
    30- 23=7
    So the last number must be 7.
    4 5 5 7 9

  6. Hamza Mean=6, mode=5, median=5, range=5. The answer is 10, 2, 5, 8, 5. As there is 5 cards and the mean is 6, I will times the number of cards with the mean. So 6 x 5 = 30. But I also have the median as 5. So it means that the number 5 will come in the middle. So I make 5 boxes (which will help me) and put 5 ,as the median, in the 3rd box. I then have my range as 5, so I think of 10-5=5. So right now it is = 10_5_5. Now I add these numbers up = 20. But I 10 more to make thirty. So I thought of 8+2=10! So I put the numbers 2 and 8 into my blank boxes and I have the answer of 10,2,5,8,5. P.S. There are many other right answers two like
    Josephine's and Andrei's.

  7. there are 5 cards.
    The mean =6 mode=5 median=5 range=5.
    Sequence=5,5,5,5,10 or 4,5,5,7,9 and many others.
    You do the number of cards times the mean (5*6) which gives us 30.
    All the numbers add up to 30.
    The median is 5 so 5 is the middle number.
    I make a chart showing whats first, second ,etc., and i put 5 as 3rd number.
    My range is 5.
    10= 5+5.
    So right now the sequence is 10_5_5= 20, we want 30 so 30-20=10 divided by 2 =5 so the answer is 10,5,5,5,5.

  9. Well done year 6! I am very glad to see we can come up with different combinations of numbers which have the same mean, median and mode!

  10. It could be those numbers because 5-0 is 5(range), 9+11+5+5+0=30 divided by 5 is 6 (mean) , 0, 5 ,5,9,11,the median is 5 and 5 is the most common number.
